On May 29, 2018, Sunrise Foods International, Inc. asked the federal court to dismiss the lawsuit it filed against USDA-APHIS and U.S. Customs over the government’s interception of a 25,000 metric ton shipment of organic cracked corn carried aboard the M/V Mountpark.  Part of the stipulation includes an agreement between the parties to a June 6 meeting in Washington, DC to review the regulatory requirements for corn imports into the U.S.
