With the Farm Bill in limbo, the Organic Certification Cost Share Program could disappear. This program was designed to reimburse 75 percent of organic certification costs.

Certification costs are the greatest burden for the farmers we value most: those with high dedication to organic integrity on diversified farms. Diversified farms build a natural system on the land, including livestock and crops, but must pay separately for both. Keeping cost share alive supports authentic organic farmers and protects an organic label we can trust.

Contact your senators and representative today and ask them to fund the Organic Certification Cost Share Program in 2024!
