The Good, the Bad and the Ugly = Decoding the GMO Food Fight in Washington State

Updated 11/2
The Cornucopia Institute has updated the infographic detailing supporters and opponents of Washington state’s historic November 5 vote on the labeling of GMO food ingredients, known as I-522.

The infographic allows consumers to identify corporate and organizational supporters and opponents of the right-to-know what is in your food. It helps consumers make purchasing decisions that reflect their values. Led by Monsanto and the Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA), the “NO” side has raised more than $17 million. Right-to-know (YES!) supporters have raised nearly $6 million. This is already the most expensive ballot initiative ever brought before Washington state voters.
