Farwell, Texas (May 17, 2014)

Update:

When we started this investigation, earlier this year, this facility was listed by the USDA as certified organic by the Texas Department of Agriculture. The farm owner told NPR news that they are no longer certified organic.

As of December 13, 2014 this facility is still listed in the USDA’s National Organic Program database, and on the Texas Department of Agriculture website, as being certified organic. We are further investigating. Even if no longer certified organic, does this look like how a truly organic farm should have appeared way back in 2013?
