Happy Town Farm is a small diversified farm that has been certified organic since 1986. We grow 4 acres of mixed vegetables, have a flock of sheep and a flock of laying hens. Part of our philosophy is that to be sustainable farms need to integrate vegetables and livestock so that nutrients can be recycled on the farm. In addition to certified organic grain, our chickens are fed weeds, crop residue, and produce we can not sell. The manure and bedding from our chickens and sheep are composted to fertilize our vegetables
