Permaculture Skills Center, Farm School

Permaculture Skills Center is now offering The Farm School in Sebastopol, California, a 10-week intensive that includes business planning, skill-building, land access and mentorship, followed by an integrated 6-month mentorship. Farm School is committed to addressing some of the biggest barriers to entering a career in farming: land access and capital.

Learn how to grow food, medicine, and raw materials while enhancing water quality and abundance, increasing bio-diversity, building soil, and restoring ecosystem health. Design a business plan focused on community well-being and continuous agricultural productivity. Join a cohort interested in exploring functional models of permaculture-inspired farm systems that address food security at all levels.

The Farm School offers support from the region’s leading-edge food producers and entrepreneurs to formulate a business plan that can be embedded strategically into your particular regional food economy.  With a growing need for more small farmers, this program is invaluable.
