They write:
At Stony Brook Eggs, we’re always looking for ways to make our hens happy. Our hens spend the winter in a spacious wooden greenhouse, and their summers in mobile coops, where they explore diverse pastures of mixed grasses, shrubs, and forest, with plenty of shade. We mill our own custom feed from northeast-grown grains, mixed with kelp, sea salt, alfalfa, and clay, and we also feed them lots of organic vegetables from our neighbors at Red Fire Farm. Our hens are very picky about how they like things, which is fine with us, because we know that, like us, they only want the best.
